The Gene of my Ex. eX-GAL

X-GAL ( Beta-Galactosidase) is a marker gene. The gene being a small blue tag is attached to protein of interest. When the protein of interest is present in a particular organism the organism turns into blue indicating the presence of the protein. X-GAL is a marker gene for GMOs.

Was it not the same with your eX. You were so in love with her once and went every where with her. In other words she stuck on you. And most of the time people recognized you as her boy friend “Hey look there is her boy friend”. Her colorful appearance denoted your presence.

And naturally she made you feel blue most of the time.

Therefore, it is not surprising that when you lookup Google images for "X-GAL" a bunch of blue gene images as well as a bunch of dancing Gal images pop up.
