Dude Genes. No Backup.

Gals have two copies of X chromosome (XX) and guys have one copy of X chromosome and one copy of Y chromosome (XY). Father dudes transmit either the X chromosome or the Y chromosome to their progeny and determine the sex of their child, either a baby gal (XX) or a baby dude (XY). Y chromosome is significantly smaller than the X chromosome. However, this small chunk of Y chromosome contains additional genes on top of the X chromosome. Dudes have additional genes instead of the back up copy (2nd) of the X chromosome. If there is something wrong with the only copy of X chromosome they can not make up for it. It is a genetic risk.

This may explain the risk taking behaviour of males. Maybe that is why F1 pilots, fire fighters, soldiers in battle front are all dudes. Females are more secure, more stable, and less risk taking.

In other words. Dudes do not backup their data. However, they can be traced by Y chromosome linked haplogrops. See: Human Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Human Y-chromosome DNA haplogroups)
