Industry Ignored Its Scientists on Climate

For more than a decade the Global Climate Coalition, a group representing industries with profits tied to fossil fuels, led an aggressive lobbying and public relations campaign against the idea that emissions of heat-trapping gases could lead to global warming.

Scientists with some exception are data crunchers. They dig data and present it to the funding fathers (not exactly the same as founding father though). Business men, funding fathers always find ways of making more money on the data they got.

I hope this won't be the case with the genome data of humans and other organisms. Because the general tendency is that money talks and worse than that does not listen. And long term effects of that would be catastrophic.

Yes, for the funding fathers too.
