Berlusconi Demands Apology From Wife

In the latest installment of the soap opera gripping Italy, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, 72, on Monday demanded an apology from his wife, Veronica Lario, 52, a day after she told Italian newspapers that she wanted a divorce.

Mr. Berlusconi said he didn't think the couple could reconcile. ''I don't think so. I don't know if I want it this time,'' Mr. Berlusconi said in an interview that appeared on Monday in Corriere della Sera, the leading Italian daily.

''Veronica will have to publicly apologize to me. And I don't know if that will be enough,'' he said.

Mr. Berlusconi went further ahead and had her old nude picture from 30 years ago on one of his newspapers and fired "Your were a show girl too".

If pictures tell lies about 30 years can DNA based diagnostics be used for these kind of cases. It is like a maternity test. In the picture above Veronica is the lady perfect and
on Mr. Berlusconi's news paper she is the "bad women". Is there gene for that. I mean a gene for "bad women" only ?

I do not think so. Furthermore, DNA based diagnostics should not be a tool of political power and everyday material for soup operas.
