SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) When you have a health issue, and you go to the doctor, you are treated based on your illness, but what if your medical care was so specialized that treatment was determined, in part, by a computer and your specific gene make up? It is one step closer to happening because of a breakthrough at LDS hospital.
Intermountain Healthcare and a genetics laboratory in Boston have for the first time ever, transferred comprehensive genetic test results electronically from on health system to another, and incorporated those results into an individual patient’s medical record.....

First but not the least.
More to come in the very near future. You are going to match your gene profile with his/hers before you mary her/him. Like it or not.
